I will also be willing to purchase debatefans. I have the money for the site hosting etc. Send me an email at christian.l.may@gmail.com send the info of prices, fees and possible signovers.

I am not selling the site. I do not want any money for this project.
The reason I released all content to the public domain was so that anyone can take the text and make their own brand-spanking-new site with it.
The backed infrastructure is nothing to sell — it’s just wordpress. The rest was designed and programmed by me.
Furthermore, it would be unfair (not to mention legally questionable) for me to sell the site, as I’ve had tremendous help from many people (particularly JBlake, s0m31john, Logical-Master, and KRFournier) in building this site. To reap money from their hard work would be wrong. I mean, the ads are up to help pay hosting costs (they never covered all of it, but they were a bit of help), but to actually make a profit would be grossly unfair to those people.

Btw, I’m not giving you a profit for the site, i’m just covering the domain fees that you paid for the year. So technically it wouldn’t be legally questionable, and I sincerely doubt JBlake, som31john, LM or KRFournier actually give a shit.

And not to mention, I didn’t pay anything for the domain. The domain came with a package I originally purchased just to host my blog; in other words, my hosting package came with two free domain names.

Ok, heres what im gonna do. Poejoe send me the link to the archives for DF. Im going to start a blogspot account (hopefully) called debatefans. If i do I will post the past few stories and continue until either me or someone else buys a domain near or like debate fans.

I don’t mind you making making money from debatefans, or anything else for that matter. In fact, I would prefer if you benefitted from it, even if it is only a little.
I hope you reconsider your stance on not selling debatefans, anI even stronger urge you to reconsider your leaving DDO permanently.
